So my prayers were answered this week and I guess Jaylen
didn't pass her driving test ha ha just kidding. She better take that
test 7 times and pass it every time before she drives ha ha. Tell her
that she isn't allowed to go on a date with a boy especially one named
Baylor. Gosh Texans have the weirdest names. At least he plays sports so
he'll be a little normal.
I totally forgot about that CD that I made for mom.
That was like my Jr. year I think. That is pretty cool. That is cool to
hear about Nate also. I am glad that he is happy now. He sent me a
letter on my mission. I never wrote him back though. I am pretty bad at
that ha ha.
So tragedy struck this week. My bike tire bent. I
was just pedaling along and then my front tire caught on something and
my entire wheel looks like a taco now. That is why I had
some purchases this week. I had to get a new axel and some other things
from amazon. Luckily our investigator Marc works and manages a bike shop
for really hi end bikes. He hooked me up with some sick discounts and
is fixing my bike for free. So a huge blessing there. A 100 dollar
repair just costs about 40 bucks now. But he can only fix it
on Tuesday so we have been walking for the most part this past week
which is hard but we have been doing good.
Our investigator Lisa Clark has a baptismal date for
the 19th of January and then Marc has a date for the 27th so we are
super excited about that. They are both on track to hit those dates.
I am learning lots of love and patience with Elder Parry. I have learned to
just laugh and not really worry about things like that so much. It
has been great and I am having a ton of fun with him. He has had an
obsession with racist jokes lately and thinks that they are so funny. He
loves to tell them to everybody that we meet. One of his favorite is.
How do Chinese people name their children? They throw pots and pans down
their stairs. We live in a community of about 70% Asian. It doesn't go
over to well ha ha.
I have to go but I love you all. Thank you for everything that you do!
Love,
Connor
